The Landor (Local History) Society serves as a focus for those who wish to learn more about the history of Rugeley, Staffordshire and the neighbouring parishes.  We care about the heritage of the town and its surrounding area. The Society seeks to preserve and protect local historical features and stimulate public interest in them. It does this by: holding meetings, lectures and exhibitions; publishing papers, leaflets, books etc. of local historical interest; acting as a coordinating body with local authority planning committees; promoting research and responding to related third-party queries by reerence to its its ongoing collection of publications, collected historical material, and ephemera.
